Releasing Equity in Newcastle.
Newcastle1 is the sixth-largest city in England and has a population of about 270,000 people. It is located in North East England on the River Tyne where it meets the North Sea. It was founded as a borough town in 1080 by Hadrian I to replace an older settlement called Pons Aelius
Newcastle-upon-Tyne, or Newcastle for short, is a city in the North East of England. It has been inhabited for over 2000 years. Roman soldiers founded it in AD 122 as Pons Aelius, but its name was changed to Newcastle when King William II gifted the town with a castle in 1078. The region’s coal mining industry brought great wealth to the city, and so did trade with Scotland. Originally just a small fishing village, it has grown to be one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country and is now home to more than 80 ethnicities.
The climate can best be described as temperate for much of the year but tends towards cold winters, typically quite dry. However, even though summers are cool by Mediterranean standards, they still have hot days, so it does not get too cold.
Hunting the city is rich in history and culture with various theatres, museums, art galleries and parks to visit. The city still holds many remnants of those times, such as Hadrian’s Wall, which separated Scotland from England. It also hosts some interesting attractions for visitors, including Tyne Bridge, an iconic landmark with a history spanning 128 years; Monument Metro Station, located near the Millennium Bridge on Gateshead Quayside; and Dudgeon Point power station built in 1968–69 dating back to when coal-fired generators were common around industrial buildings.
